Pastor Christopher John Camp is a native of Pennsylvania, growing up in York and living for several years in Warren, PA. This is where he met his wife, Jayne.
Pastor Camp was saved at the age of 25 while serving in the United States Navy, stationed at the submarine base in Groton, CT.
Pastor Camp and his wife were married in September of 1986 and
lived in Groton, CT; Sarasota, FL; Warren, PA; and Lattimore, NC.
They have now settled, along with their four daughters in Ansonia, CT.
Pastor Camp has been the pastor of River Valley Baptist Church since
November of 2005. He came to New England in the summer of 2003, and served alongside Pastor Norman Aabye as the Associate Pastor of River Valley.
Pastor Camp is a graduate of Ambassador Baptist College in Lattimore, NC., where he received his Graduate of Theology Degree in 2003, and Emmanuel Baptist Theological Seminary, where he received a Bachelor of Divinity Degree in 2009.
